“Gaza in History” is a YouTube event organized by the Gaza in Context Project (Institute for Middle East Studies, George Washington University). The event is co-organized by a broad range of leading Universities and Research Institutes.
The event is moderated by Sherene Seikaly (Assoc. Prof. of History, UC Santa Barbara) and features Beshara Doumani (Mahmoud Darwish Professor of Palestinian Studies at Brown University) and Ilana Feldman (Prof. of Anthropology, History, and International Affairs, George Washington University).
This is the second teach-in installment for Gaza in Context, where speakers Beshara Doumani and Ilana Feldman will explore the broader history of Gaza, and how Gaza fits into the Question of Palestine in the past and the present.
